WHY CAN’T YOU VISIT A MUSEUM TODAY?

In the book Art as Therapy, Alain de Botton and John Armstrong state that “[a]rt helps us accomplish a task that is of central importance in our lives: to hold onto things we live when they are gone.”

I believe that in this quote, they are urging us all to use art as a means to re-live important life experiences. What a wonderful reason to visit a museum, to spend real quality time holding onto things we have lived.

Would you or a loved one like to visit a museum, but are in need of assistance in making those arrangements? Do you or a loved one simply need a companion to accompany you?
